Reciting the complete Allahumma Antas Salam dua after Taslim—i.e., after concluding the prayer with “As-salamu alaykum warahmatullah”—is a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
This does not mean the dua is mandatory; it is not an obligatory act. Understanding the meaning of the dua helps clarify its purpose, and it is recited for the following reasons:

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلاَمُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلاَمُ تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ
Transliteration
Allahumma Antas-Salam wa minkas-salam. Tabarakta ya Dhal-jalali wal-ikram.
English Translation
“O Allah, You are As-Salam, From You is all peace, blessed are You O Possessor of majesty and honour.”

There are variations of this dua. For example:
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ وَإِلَيْكَ يَرْجِعُ السَّلَامُ فَحَيِّنَا رَبَّنَا بِالسَّلَامِ وَأَدْخِلْنَا دَارَكَ دَارَ السَّلَامِ تَبَارَكت رَبنَا وَتَعَالَيْت يَا ذَا الْجلَال وَالْإِكْرَام
Transliteration: Allahumma Antas Salam wa minkas Salam wa ilayka yarji’us salam fahayyina Rabbana bis salam wa adkhilna daraka daras salam tabarakta Rabbana wa ta’alayta Ya Dhal Jalali wal Ikram
You may recall such variations intuitively, even without remembering where you learned them. There is no sin in remembering or reciting these alternative versions, but these additional words have no authentic basis.
If you wish to adhere to the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him), recite the original dua as presented earlier.
