The beautiful adhan (call to prayer) unites Muslims to gather in worship—we hear it five times daily, 1825 times a year. Yet how many of us know the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) regarding the supplication (dua) to recite after hearing the adhan? 一、Dua After Hearing the Adhan

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعَاءِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدتَّهُ
Transliteration:
Allahumma Rabba hadhihi-dda watit-tammah, was-salatil qa’imah, ati Muhammadan al-wasilata wal-fadilah, wa bath-hu maqaman mahmudan-il-ladhi wa`adtahu
English Translation:
“O Allah! Lord of this perfect call (free from associating partners with You) and of the established prayer, grant Muhammad the right of intercession and excellence, and resurrect him to the noble position You promised him.”
Then the Prophet (ﷺ) added: “My intercession for him will be allowed on the Day of Resurrection.”
