In unfavorable circumstances, worship reflects loyalty and true faith. During those moments, we ask Allah for help and remain patient.<\/div>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-FmPDft54OduVmzcLSvQcESMwnPf\">Allah knows what lies in our hearts and the true intentions of the believer.<\/div>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-HFKUfD3iVdeJc3c1M4ic3no4nbg\">In this section, we explore the hadith to learn the Sunnah of the Prophet (\ufdfa) regarding what he would recite before going to bed. This is a short dua that is easy to memorize in Arabic, and the benefit of learning it is that your heart will be filled with love for Allah (swt).<\/div>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-U2WafsBMwdaPlwct3iacMNggnCh\">The more duas you learn, the more tools you will have to remember Allah (swt) on various occasions. And we know that sincere remembrance of Allah is one of the greatest acts of worship.<\/div>\n<h4 class=\"heading-4 ace-line old-record-id-KAftfIoSid7mDQcmAc1c4T8An6e\">Allahumma Bismika Dua in Arabic<\/h4>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-KzkOfc8R3dJLN7csjjRc18Jjnkf\">The Arabic text of this dua is as follows:<\/div>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-CvmKfB7LUdwnyGcxNetcrok1nFg\">\u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u0645 \u0628\u0627\u0633\u0645\u0643 \u0623\u0645\u0648\u062a \u0648\u0623\u062d\u064a\u0627<\/div>\n<h4 class=\"heading-4 ace-line old-record-id-MUPJfkxa4d3wS1cRYtBcm3NCnGf\">Transliteration<\/h4>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-PddifheV9dYWwIcWKlucEmWqnih\">Transliteration: Allahumma bismika amutu wa ahya<\/div>\n<h4 class=\"heading-4 ace-line old-record-id-WmSbfeTuldDRI7c9poAccCRun9c\">Meaning of Allahumma Bismika Amutu Wa Ahya<\/h4>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-U5Wrfx7aQd0m2bcLM8ocuajmnUb\">The translation of this dua is: \u201cO Allah, with Your Name will I die and live (wake up).\u201d<\/div>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-A6AQf98SMdAyxBcNySxcvXQPn7S\">There is a second version of this dua recorded in the hadith of Sahih Al-Bukhari, which is:<\/div>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-Z36WfkXFLdjCm5cItIbcbEqPned\">\u0628\u0650\u0627\u0633\u0652\u0645\u0650\u0643\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0647\u064f\u0645\u064e\u0651 \u0623\u064e\u0645\u064f\u0648\u062a\u064f \u0648\u064e\u0623\u064e\u062d\u0652\u064a\u064e\u0627<\/div>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-L2C0fv7mcdE9kxcOGNmc4V5xn3c\">Transliteration: Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya<\/div>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-LtnxfV8bGd9W7uc5C9OcCBden2d\">Translation: \u201cWith Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.\u201d<\/div>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-XjJRfzfTmdjg0ncxTBGctpOknlh\">Both variations are recorded in authentic hadith.<\/div>\n<h4 class=\"heading-4 ace-line old-record-id-Qk2BfghZndWz1pcYn0wcsRDAnoc\">Full Hadith on Dua Before Sleep<\/h4>\n<div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-Ns9Dfb8pednEW2cGYtScCmMznPf\">This dua can be recited on any occasion, but the Sunnah of the Prophet (\ufdfa) was to recite it when lying down to sleep.
