In Surah Ibrahim, there are heartfelt ayats where Prophet Ibrahim (AS) openly pours out his emotions, praising Allah SWT for all the blessings He has bestowed upon him. In Ayat 38-39, he says:<\/div>\n
\u201cOur Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we declare, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven. Praise to Allah, who has granted to me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of supplication.\u201d<\/div>\n
Prophet Ibrahim then continues to supplicate to Allah: \u201cMy Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.\u201d<\/div>\n
He then recites the popular \u201cRabbighfirli Waliwalidayya\u201d dua, which asks for forgiveness not only for himself but also for his parents and the entire Muslim Ummah. It is a beautiful and comprehensive dua seeking Allah\u2019s forgiveness, and learning it brings great benefit.<\/div>\n

Meaning of Rabbighfirli Waliwalidayya Dua<\/h3>\n
The English meaning of the \u201cRabbighfirli Waliwalidayya Walil Mumineena\u201d dua is: \u201cOur Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.\u201d<\/div>\n
From this translation, we can see that this is truly a beautiful dua that can be recited for one\u2019s entire family.<\/div>\n
