In the Quran, Surah Ghafir Ayat 40, Allah tells the reader:<\/div>\n
\u201cCall upon Me; I will respond to you.\u201d Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.\u201d<\/div>\n
Having confidence in oneself is necessary to achieve one\u2019s goals, but believing solely in one\u2019s own abilities is dangerous. All things happen through Allah, and it is important that we seek His help and guidance in everything we do.<\/div>\n
In Surah Baqarah Ayat 186, Allah says:<\/div>\n
\u201cAnd when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me \u2013 indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.\u201d<\/div>\n
The \u201cRabbi Habli Hukman\u201d dua we will explore today is from Surah Ash-Shu\u2019ara Ayat 83. It asks Allah to place us among the righteous and bestow upon us knowledge and wisdom, so that we may make good judgments.<\/div>\n

Meaning of Rabbi Habli Hukman Dua<\/h3>\n
The core meaning of this dua is: \u201cMy Lord! Grant me wisdom, and join me with the righteous.\u201d<\/div>\n
It should be noted that the word \u201cHukman\u201d in this context does not refer to asking Allah for Prophethood. Rather, it denotes wisdom, knowledge, right understanding, and the power of judgment.<\/div>\n
Regarding the phrase \u201cjoin me with the righteous,\u201d its essence is a prayer for Allah to grant a righteous society to live among in this world, and to be raised with the righteous in the Hereafter. For those who believe in the afterlife and reward and punishment, this is a vital prayer. Even in this world, a pious person hopes Allah will protect them from immoral and wicked societies and unite them with those who practice and uphold the principles of truth and honesty. A righteous individual will remain uneasy until their society becomes morally pure or they find another society that adheres to truth.<\/div>\n
