Rabbana Taqabbal Minna Dua (Invocation: Our Lord, Accept from Us)<\/div>\n
This dua is taken from Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 127.<\/div>\n

Our Lord, accept this from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.<\/div>\n
Other translations of this ayat:<\/div>\n
DR. GHALI: Our Lord, (graciously) accept (this) from us. Surely You alone are the Ever-Hearing, the Ever-Knowing.<\/div>\n
PICKTHALL: Our Lord! Accept from us (this duty). Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Hearer, the Knower.<\/div>\n
YUSUF ALI: Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: For Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-knowing.<\/div>\n
MUFTI TAQI USMANI: Our Lord accept (this service) from us! Indeed, You \u2013 and You alone \u2013 are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing!<\/div>\n

Benefits of Reciting This Dua & Why It Should Be Recited<\/h2>\n
This ayah teaches us that a believer should not be content with mere actions alone.<\/div>\n
Islam is a religion where intention takes precedence over action itself. This is why the Quran, in Surah Al-Ma\u2019un, Verses 4-7, states: \u201cWoe to those who pray, yet are heedless of their prayers\u2014those who show off their deeds and withhold simple acts of kindness.\u201d<\/div>\n
It is actually counterproductive to pray with a wandering mind; we must perform our duties with a high level of concentration and focus.<\/div>\n
Similarly, after completing his duty, Prophet Ibrahim (may peace be upon him) humbly supplicated to Allah (SWT) to accept his deeds. This demonstrates that his intention was pure\u2014he performed the work solely to please Allah.<\/div>\n
It was not done with any ulterior motive of being seen by others, nor was it a display to make others praise him, saying, \u201cLook how good and great he is.\u201d Rather, it was done solely to please Allah, subhanahu wa ta\u2019ala.<\/div>\n
Imam As-Sadiq stated: \u201cWhoever performs a small deed for the sake of Allah, Allah will magnify it beyond his expectations in the eyes of others. And whoever performs a great deed for the sake of people, Allah will diminish its value in the eyes of others.\u201d<\/div>\n
So remember to recite this dua: Rabbana taqabbal minna inaka Antas Samee\u2019ul Aleem. It is a short and easy dua to learn\u2014recite it whenever you feel you have done something for Allah (SWT).
