In Islam, the recording angel of evil actions is \u2018At\u012bd (\u0639\u062a\u064a\u062f).<\/p>\n

The Recording Angels<\/h3>\n

According to Islamic belief, each person has been assigned two recording angels:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Raq\u012bb (\u0631\u0642\u064a\u0628) Records good deeds<\/li>\n
  2. \u2018At\u012bd (\u0639\u062a\u064a\u062f) Records sins<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Together, the recording angels are called the Kir\u0101man K\u0101tib\u012bn (\u0643\u0631\u0627\u0645\u0627\u064b \u0643\u0627\u062a\u0628\u064a\u0646), which means \u201cNoble Scribes\u201d or \u201cHonorable Recorders.\u201d<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Quranic Reference<\/h3>\n

    In Surah Qaf (50:17-18), these recording angels have been referred to in the Quran.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    \u201cWhen the two receivers receive, on the right and the left. Not a word does he say, but there is a watcher beside him waiting (to record it).\u201d<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    And in Surah Al-Infitar (82:10-12):<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    \u201cAnd surely, over you are watchmen (angels), honourable and writers; they know whatever you do.\u201d<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Their Role<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • These angels remain with each person for their entire life:<\/li>\n
    • They note all deeds, words, and thoughts<\/li>\n
    • They never leave their station except in some private moments<\/li>\n
    • Their records will be recited on the Day of Judgment<\/li>\n
    • They are patient and careful in their recording<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Islamic Understanding<\/h3>\n

      • Muslims understand that knowledge of these recording angels is:<\/li>\n
      • A reminder to be cautious about one\u2019s actions<\/li>\n
      • Incentive to perform good deeds<\/li>\n
      • Deterrent from sinning<\/li>\n
      • Assurance that nothing is overlooked in the divine accounting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
