Faith in Angels includes the second pillar of faith and introducing the names of angels to children can be done from an early age.<\/p>\n

According to Islamic teachings, the number of angels is a lot, and only known by Allah SWT. Each angel\u2019s name and duties are their own. And the names of angels are associated with his work.<\/p>\n

As a Muslim who is obliged to believe in the existence of angels, it is important for man to know the creature created by God from this nur (light). However, ordinary people cannot see angels, only prophets and apostles can see these special beings.<\/p>\n

Angels are obedient beings and always glorify Allah SWT, as found in the word of God:<\/p>\n

Those who are with your Lord do not refuse to worship Allah, and they glorify Him, and in Him they prostrate themselves.\u201d Qs. Surah Al A\u2019raf: 206<\/p>\n

Angel Name And Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n

The following is the task of angels by name that need to be known:<\/p>\n

1. The Angel Gabriel<\/strong><\/p>\n

The duty of the Angel Gabriel conveys revelation from Allah SWT to the Prophet and apostle. Malakat Jibril is also tasked with regulating the wind, fulfilling or restraining human hajat, and bringing mercy to those who keep chastity when sakaratul death.<\/p>\n

2. The Angel Michael<\/strong><\/p>\n

The duty of The Angel Michael regulates the distribution of sustenance to the creatures of God, such as sending rain and giving life to plants.<\/p>\n

3. Angel Israfil<\/strong><\/p>\n

The duty of the Angel is to blow the trumpet on the day of the Coming of judgment.<\/p>\n

4. The Angel of Izrail<\/strong><\/p>\n

The duty of the Angel of Izrail took the lives of mankind when his death came.<\/p>\n

5. Munkar Angel<\/strong><\/p>\n

The angel Munkar\u2019s task is to ask people in the realm of barzah (the realm of the grave).<\/p>\n

6. Angel Nakir<\/strong><\/p>\n

The angel Nakir\u2019s task is the same as that of the angel Munkar, which is to question mankind in the realm of barzah.<\/p>\n

Angels Munkar and Nakir in the grave will ask about gods, religions, prophets, scriptures, qiblah in worship, brothers, guidelines of life, way of life, and daily behavior with the language used by grave experts while living in the world.<\/p>\n

7. Angel Raqib<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is the duty of the Angel of Raqib to record the good deeds of mankind.<\/p>\n

8. Angel Atid<\/strong><\/p>\n

The angel\u2019s duty is to record every deed and deed that man has done.<\/p>\n

9. Angel Malik<\/strong><\/p>\n

Angel Malik\u2019s job is to guard the gates of hell. He is hard and has no mercy for the dwellers of the Fire.<\/p>\n

10. Angel Ridwan<\/strong><\/p>\n

The duty of the Angel Ridwan to guard and watch over the door of heaven. The Angel Ridwan is also tasked to welcome all servants of God who will enter it. His attitude is gentle and very friendly when allowing people to enter paradise<\/p>\n

The Function Of Believing In Angels<\/strong><\/p>\n

Believing in the angel is obligatory or fardu \u2018ain. As stated in the Qur\u2019an:<\/p>\n

After knowing the names of angels and their duties, as creations of God, we also need to know the benefits and functions of believing in angels, namely:<\/p>\n

  1. Always obey the command of Allah SWT, and avoid the prohibition.<\/li>\n
  2. Always help, maintain, optimistic, energetic and not discouraged.<\/li>\n
  3. Always do the best thing in order to increase piety.<\/li>\n
  4. Always be grateful for whatever sustenance he gets<\/li>\n
  5. Always be careful in speaking and acting.<\/li>\n
  6. Know the majesty of God who created noble creatures such as angels.<\/li>\n
  7. Always compete in doing good.<\/li>\n
