The direct short answer to this question is that NOBODY on the surface of the earth from the beginning of time and until the end of time even remotely has the same loving capacity as Allah (only One True God) does! Nobody! Allah Almighty IS, in fact, the Creator of Love and the One who Bestows Love. Any love you\u2019ve ever seen or experienced in life is merely a minute reflection of His love. Love doesn\u2019t exist, people don\u2019t exist, and Jesus (peace be upon him) doesn\u2019t exist without Him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When we talk about Allah, we\u2019re talking about your God and my God; The One & Only Deity, Creator and Sustainer of all mankind and everything in the Heavens and the Earth. We talk about Allah the Almighty.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.\u201d [Quran 49: 13]\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Someone might think, \u201cAllah says that the noblest to Him are the righteous ones. So, if I have already sinned so many times and so much, does this mean that Allah does not love me?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s interesting to associate the Name \u2018The Infinitely Affectionate\u2019 with the context of sins and forgiveness. When people commit a lot of sins or mistakes, they don\u2019t expect to be met with affection. They expect the opposite.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we make repeated mistakes, we think that something in people\u2019s hearts changes towards us. Maybe mistakes decrease people\u2019s love for us a bit. Even if they forgive us, but they might not perceive us in the same light again after they\u2019ve seen our repeated flaws.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the limitedness of human beings. But it\u2019s not the Vastness of The Creator Allah Almighty!<\/span><\/p>\n

Mistakes and sins, no matter how many and how big, do not decrease His Love towards the person who asks for forgiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Allah Love & Self-Development: Also, Allah knows when people make mistakes, they don\u2019t love themselves. Hence, He meets that with His Name, the Affectionate, to compensate for their lack of love for themselves or people\u2019s lack of love towards them. Moreover, He allows them to re-love themselves and move on. This is a major door for self-development and growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

How Does Allah Allow the Sinners to Re-Love Themselves & Move on?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Allah loves the sinners and shows them the right way to repent. Allah directs affectionate forgiveness to those who seek it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Allah encourages people to rectify their affairs so they won\u2019t remain in harmful, damaging sins that ruin their and other people\u2019s lives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Allah loves those who seek forgiveness and forgive them immediately.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, He will appoint for you affection in the hearts of people, even if you don\u2019t know how. People will love you without you knowing or being able to earn that love on your own.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since Allah is The Creator and Controller of hearts, He\u2019ll place in them whatever He wants.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him), said:
\n<\/span>Allah, the Exalted, has said: \u2018O son of Adam! I shall go on forgiving you so long as you pray to Me and aspire for My forgiveness *whatever may be your sins*. O son of Adam! *I do not care even if your sins should pile up to the sky* and should you beg pardon of Me; I would forgive you. O son of Adam! If you come to Me with an earth-full of sins and meet Me, not associating anything with Me in worship, I will certainly grant you as much pardon as will fill the earth.\u201d [At-Tirmidhi]\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The striking part here is Allah saying, \u201cI do not care\u201d what you did or how many times it has been repeated, I\u2019ll Forgive Affectionately, and I do not care.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s interesting how people think there is no love in Islam, whereas Allah is bringing a new definition of Divine Affection that humans can hardly imagine or actualize but can aspire to in their self-development journey.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is direct, immediate Divine Affection despite mistakes while encouraging self-betterment.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is holistic guidance and transformation. Love is not to die for your sins, and love is to forgive you immediately and teach you how to live.<\/span><\/p>\n

Does Allah Love The non-Believers?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Allah\u2019s love encompasses everything and everyone on earth, but a person must ask for this love and show his love in actions first. When a non-Mulsim shows love to Allah and seek the truth, Allah will guide him to the right path and the way towards His Love.<\/span><\/p>\n

Signs that Allah loves you \u2013 Allah Loves Us Quotes<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

There are some signs that prove that Allah loves you. These signs are:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Those Who Purify Themselves:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you repent and purify yourself and your heart, Allah will love you. As Allah says in the Quran:<\/span><\/p>\n

3. When Y<\/span>ou Are Dealing with Just<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you deal with just Allah will love you. As Allah says in the Quran:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>But yes, whoever fulfills his commitment and is Conscious of Allah \u2013 then indeed, Allah loves al-mutaqeen (the God-conscious\/those who fear Him).\u201d [Quran 3:76]\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

5 . Those Who Trust in Him and Are Steadfast:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you trust Allah\u2019s deed, Allah will love you. As Allah says in the Quran:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0If Allah Loves us, Why are there Many Rules in Islam?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The first thing to think about here is this: does love mean to leave you to harm yourself and harm others and spread corruption without any instructions or rules to help you rectify your affairs?<\/span><\/p>\n

Example from Everyday Life<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Imagine there are two mothers. The first mother loves her child and gives him no rules or instructions whatsoever even though she sees her child getting dirty, not taking care of his health, and eating junk all the time.<\/span><\/p>\n

She sees him hanging out with the wrong crowd that influences him badly, abusing harmful substances, bullying others and failing his exam, and still giving no instructions.<\/span><\/p>\n

He becomes the worst version of himself, doesn\u2019t reach his full potential, and harms himself and others, but she gives no instructions because she loves him!<\/span><\/p>\n

So, the question here is: Is it really considered \u2018love\u2019 if a mother gives no instructions and lets her child harm himself and waste his precious life?<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, the second mother does things differently.<\/span><\/p>\n

She loves her child immensely, but her love is translated into her desire to help him be the best he can be, live the best life, and reach his full potential as a decent human being.<\/span><\/p>\n

She puts rules and instructions to help him eat healthy food, be clean, and stay out of harm and bad company.<\/span><\/p>\n

If and when he fails, she forgives him immediately and helps him again and again and again, and it doesn\u2019t decrease her love for him one bit. Is this a better mother or the One who is not concerned about her child ruining himself, claiming that this is love?<\/span><\/p>\n

If you see your child using drugs, for example, and you leave him because \u201cyou love him, \u201c\u2026 is this really love, or is it destruction?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Basically, Islam instructs us to translate love into daily action because that\u2019s true love.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Is the Nature of Allah\u2019s Love?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Allah\u2019s love is Divine. It is a love that means teaching us what no one can teach us, being merciful to us like no one can be, forgiving us no matter how much and how gravely we sin. Simultaneously teaching us how to improve ourselves and be the best we can be spiritually, physically, and socially.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Allah is the Most Knowing of us and of this life that He created for us. In all unaltered Divine revelations and with every Messenger He sent, He has given us knowledge about Him and instructions to help us live a decent, pure life because He is ultimately The Best One to show us how we can succeed in this life and the next for eternity. The summation and completion of His revelations are in the Qur\u2019an that He revealed to His final Messenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Manifestation of Allah\u2019s Love in Islam?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

There are several aspects of true love in Islam. There are many ways in which Allah shows His love To us through His Teachings:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. No Original Sin in Islam<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

It is love that Allah did not let us carry burdens of sins we did not commit. There is no original sin in Islam.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Allah\u2019s Immediate Forgiveness, No Intermediaries<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

It is love that Allah forgave our father Adam immediately:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.\u201d [Quran 2: 37]<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And He forgives each and every single One of us who asks Him directly and with no intermediaries:<\/span><\/p>\n

3. No Preferable Son With Allah<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

It is love that Allah did not take for himself a son or a child that would be nearer to Him than us and instead honored \u201cUs\u201d above all His other creations<\/span><\/p>\n

4. No Partners With Allah\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

It is love that Allah did not take any partners who will quarrel with Him about our affairs or disagree about the mercy and rewards He shows us:<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Allah Rescued His Beloved Jesus Rescue<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

6. Allah Completed the Message with the Quran<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

It is love that Allah sent us His final perfect, and complete message in the Qur\u2019an to teach us about Him and about our purpose and destination. It reminds us that there is only One God of all mankind that they should submit to and be grateful to:<\/span><\/p>\n

It is love that Allah the Almighty sent a merciful teacher, His last Messenger Muhammad (PBUH), with a detailed and complete Book of guidance. It covers every aspect of life to help us live a life of meaning, purpose, peace, purification, and satisfaction.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0Reverse the Question: Do You Love Allah?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

You might say yes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But does love mean the refusal to accept any rules from your beloved?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Imagine that you love someone, but you refuse to commit to him\/her or call. Moreover, you don\u2019t do what they love and avoid what they don\u2019t love; is this a sincere relationship? It\u2019s hardly even a relationship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every relationship has some rules and instructions.<\/span><\/p>\n

How Do You Express Your Love To Allah?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

It is very easy to talk the talk, but it takes true, sincere love to walk the walk.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s why Allah says:<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyone can claim to love God. Talking is easy and cheap, but what matters is who will follow Him, commit to Him and prioritize Him even over their own selves and desires.<\/span><\/p>\n

Islam is about sincere, not fake love. It is about actions and commitment, not void words. That is why there are many rules in Islam.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is Allah, and this is Islam! It is a way of life where Allah calls us to action to benefit us, purify us, and reward us for far greater than we deserve.<\/span><\/p>\n

The point is to sincerely know, worship, and commit to Him. Not to live a life devoid of Him\/in negligence of Him and then claim that this is love.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Five Common Elements in the Condition of Love For Allah<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

I have known people who are in love, and I\u2019ve been in love before; it\u2019s not that people become transgressors when they fall in love for the sake of pleasing their partners, but much like the condition of submission to the will of the partner, they never think twice, it\u2019s like an overdose of trust. I\u2019d like to make them five hypotheses we create about the partner once we fall in love:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Priority:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Even prior to our own rest, desires, dreams, and preferences. We can give everything in the condition of love, with no limits. If I\u2019d say \u2018our lives have no value anymore for the sake of them,\u2019 I don\u2019t think I\u2019m exaggerating.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Complete:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Even in their weaknesses, how they get angry is a charm, how they hate some people is a charm, how they yell, how they mannerly misbehave, it\u2019s like we suppose they put everything in its right place.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Excused:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Even if there is something that we\u2019re definitely sure they shouldn\u2019t have done, we\u2019ll find them excuses, so weaknesses aren\u2019t but more reasons to fall even more in love with them.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Followed:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>My God! In every word they say, in every intention they make, in every step they take, we sometimes feel like we just wish to guess what they think to make them happy with it, to make their dreams come true, and to be in the best shape in their minds. Sometimes we spend hours thinking of their pleasance, what we did wrong to push them away, what we did right to keep them stay.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Feared:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>We\u2019re always alarmed for things they dislike and people they hate, even if one of them is a family member or a close friend; it\u2019s like we\u2019re giving them the key to our gate, and they choose whom to stay and whom to leave.<\/span><\/p>\n

I know it might get different from one to another, but amongst those five, most of us do most of them when we fall in love.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fall In Love With Allah<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

I\u2019d say: Yes, but it requires practice, and experiments will teach a lot. I admit I had a long journey of meeting the very wrong people to realize why I must build my love for people upon knowledge and justice and to be loyal the most to the One who is worth my loyalty the most. And this is the journey I started when I asked: Why (and how) should I love Allah and His final Messenger \u2013Muhammad- the most? When I first heard this:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere are three qualities whoever has them will taste the sweetness of Faith:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. To love Allah and His Messenger more than anyone else;<\/span><\/p>\n

2. To love a person only for (the sake of) Allah;<\/span><\/p>\n

3. And to abhor returning to infidelity after Allah Has saved him from it as he would abhor being thrown into the fire (of Hell).\u201d Said Muhammad peace be upon him, [Reference: Al-Bukhari and Muslim].<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s not about following blindly but following trustfully after knowing Allah very well.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>It\u2019s not required from any human to follow upon ignorance. After knowing Him, it\u2019s now to give Him the Loved One Position; this is God\u2019s place in the heart. Meanwhile, there\u2019s a peak of knowledge about Allah in our creation, the same peak which makes us fall in love with our mums and be merciful to children and weak ones. It is the same peak by which a baby cat knows its way to its mother\u2019s nipple without being taught, and a baby turtle knows its way to the sea and migrates for over 3000 miles.<\/span><\/p>\n

The acts we do when we fall in love really amaze me, how we do all this to someone we barely knew for a few years\/months, and sometimes even for a few days! It breaks all the chains we think we\u2019re held with when it comes to our loyalty to Allah, the One and Only worthy of it.<\/span><\/p>\n
