There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful.\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2014 <em>Surah Al-Baqarah (2:163)<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This verse affirms that only All\u0101h deserves to be worshiped, rejecting any notion of associating others with Him.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, All\u0101h commands:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n<strong>\u201cAnd We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], \u2018Worship All\u0101h and avoid \u1e6c\u0101gh\u016bt (false deities).&#8217;\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2014 <em>Surah An-Na\u1e25l (16:36)<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This verse shows that the central message of all prophets was to direct worship to All\u0101h alone and to reject false gods.<\/p>\n<p>Understanding <em>Tawheed-al-Ul\u016bhiyyah<\/em> means recognizing that worship is due to All\u0101h alone, with sincere devotion and submission. It inspires a person to seek closeness to All\u0101h by dedicating their actions, love, and reverence to Him, knowing that He alone is worthy of worship.
