Although minor <em>shirk<\/em> does not remove a person from Islam, it is still a grave sin and must be avoided.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hidden Polytheism (Shirk Khafi):<\/strong> This type of <em>shirk<\/em> involves subtle feelings or attitudes that detract from pure reliance on All\u0101h, like placing one\u2019s ultimate trust or fear in something or someone other than All\u0101h.
