\u02bfAbdull\u0101h b. \u02bfUmar (radiy All\u0101h\u016b \u2018anhum\u0101) narrates that the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said: \u201cIndeed, \u012bm\u0101n (faith) wears out in your hearts the way a piece of cloth wears out. Shahr bin Hawshab (ra\u1e25imahull\u0101h) said: \u201cI said to Umm Salamah (rad\u0323iy Alla\u0304hu \u2018anha\u0304): \u2018O Mother of the Believers! What was the supplication that the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said most frequently when he was with you?\u201d She said: \u2018The supplication he said most frequently was: \u2019[the above]\u2019\u201d She said: \u2018So I said: \u201cO Messenger of Allah, why do you supplicate [the above] so frequently [the above]? He said: \u2018O Umm Salamah! Verily, there is no human being except that his heart is between Two Fingers of the Fingers of Allah, so whomsoever He wills He makes steadfast, and whomever He wills He causes to deviate.\u2019\u201d\u00a0(Tirmidh\u012b 3522)<\/strong><\/p>\n
