A\u02bf\u016bdhu bi kalim\u0101t-i-ll\u0101hi-t-t\u0101mm\u0101ti min gha\u1e0dabihi wa \u02bfiq\u0101bih, wa sharri \u02bfib\u0101dih, wa min hamaz\u0101ti-sh-shaya\u1e6d\u012bn wa an ya\u1e25\u1e0dur\u016bn.<\/sub><\/sup><\/p>\n

I seek protection in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the evil suggestions of the devils and from them appearing to me.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n

\u02bfAmr b. Shu\u02bfayb narrated from his father, who narrated from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said: \u201cWhen one of you becomes frightened during sleep, then let him say: [the above]. For verily, they shall not harm him.\u201d He said: \u201cSo \u02bfAbdullah b. \u02bfAmr (ra\u1e0diy All\u0101hu \u2018anhu) used to teach it to those of his children who attained maturity, and those of them who did not, he would write it on a sheet and then hang it around their neck.\u201d\u00a0(Tirmidh\u012b 3528)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said: \u201cA good dream is from Allah, so if anyone of you sees a dream which pleases him, he should not tell anybody about it except to the one whom he loves. And if he sees a dream which he dislikes, then he should seek Allah\u2019s protection from its evil and from the evil of Shayt\u0101n. He should spit three times on his left and should not tell anybody about it, lest it might harm him.\u201d\u00a0(Bukh\u0101r\u012b 6986)<\/strong><\/p>\n

O Allah, we make You our shield against them and we seek refuge in You from their evil.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n
