Wa ana ash-hadu al-l\u0101 il\u0101ha illa-ll\u0101hu wa\u1e25dah\u016b l\u0101 shar\u012bka lah, wa anna Mu\u1e25ammadan \u02bfabduh\u016b wa ras\u016bluh, ra\u1e0d\u012btu bi-ll\u0101hi rabb\u0101, wa bi Mu\u1e25ammadi-r-ras\u016bl\u0101, wa bi-l-isl\u0101mi d\u012bn\u0101.<\/em><\/pre>\n
I also bear witness that there is no god but Allah. He is Alone and He has no partner whatsoever, and that Muhammad \ufdfa is His servant and His Messenger. I am satisfied with Allah as my Lord, with Muhammad as my Messenger, and with Islam as my religion.<\/pre>\n
The Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said: \u201cIf anyone says [the above] on hearing the mu\u2019adhdhin, his sins will be forgiven.\u201d\u00a0(Muslim 386)<\/strong><\/p>\n

O Allah, honour and have mercy upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad\u2026<\/pre>\n
The Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said: \u201cWhen you hear the mu\u2019adhdhin calling for the prayer, repeat his words then send blessings upon me. The one who sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send 10 blessings upon him\u2026\u201d\u00a0(Muslim 384)<\/strong><\/p>\n

All\u0101humma rabba h\u0101dhi-hi-d-d\u02bfawati-t-t\u0101mmati wa-\u1e63-\u1e63al\u0101ti-l-q\u0101imah, \u0101ti Mu\u1e25ammadani-l-was\u012blata wa-l-fa\u1e0d\u012blah, wa-b-\u02bfath-hu maq\u0101ma-m-ma\u1e25m\u016bdani-l-ladh\u012b wa \u02bfadtah.<\/em><\/pre>\n
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Muhammad the status (a unique lofty status in Paradise) and pre-eminence, and resurrect him to the praiseworthy station that You have promised him.<\/pre>\n
The Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said: \u201cWhoever says [the above] after the adh\u0101n shall receive my intercession on the Day of Judgement.\u201d\u00a0(Bukh\u0101r\u012b 614)<\/strong><\/p>\n

All\u0101humma-j-\u02bfal f\u012b qalb\u012b n\u016br\u0101, wa f\u012b ba\u1e63ar\u012b n\u016br\u0101, wa f\u012b sam\u02bf\u012b n\u016br\u0101, wa \u02bfay-yam\u012bn\u012b n\u016br\u0101, wa \u02bfay-yas\u0101r\u012b n\u016br\u0101, wa fawq\u012b n\u016br\u0101, wa ta\u1e25t\u012b n\u016br\u0101, wa am\u0101m\u012b n\u016br\u0101, wa khalf\u012b n\u016br\u0101, wa-j-\u02bfal l\u012b n\u016br\u0101.<\/em><\/pre>\n
O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my sight and light in my hearing. Place light on my right and place light on my left. Place light above me and place light beneath me. Place light in front of me, place light behind me and grant me light.<\/pre>\n
Ibn \u02bfAbbas (radiy All\u0101h\u016b \u02bfanhum\u0101): One night I slept at the house of Maim\u016bna\u0304 (rad\u0323iy Alla\u0304hu \u2018anha\u0304). The Prophet \ufdfa woke up, answered the call of nature, washed his face and hands, and then slept. He got up (late at night), went to a water skin, opened the mouth and performed wudh\u016b not using much water, yet he washed all the parts properly and then offered the prayer.<\/p>\n
I got up and stretched, fearing that the Prophet \ufdfa might sense that I was watching him, and then I performed wudh\u016b, and when he got up to offer the Salah, I stood on his left. He caught hold of my ear and brought me over to his right side. He offered thirteen rak\u02bf\u0101t (units) in total and then lay down and slept till he started breathing heavily as he used to do when he slept.<\/p>\n
In the meantime Bilal (radiy All\u0101h\u016b \u02bfanhu) informed the Prophet \ufdfa of the approaching of (Fajr) Salah, and the Prophet \ufdfa offered the Fajr salah without performing a new wudh\u016b. And he used to say in his supplication [the above].\u00a0(Bukh\u0101r\u012b 6316, Muslim 763)<\/strong><\/p>\n
When Entering the Masjid #1<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A\u02bf\u016bdhu bi-ll\u0101hi-l-\u02bfa\u1e93\u012bm, wa bi wajhihi-l-kar\u012bm, wa sul\u1e6d\u0101nihi-l-qad\u012bm, mina-sh-Shay\u1e6d\u0101ni-r-raj\u012bm.<\/em><\/pre>\n
I seek protection in Allah, the Supreme, His Noble Countenance, and His Eternal Authority from the accursed Shayt\u0101n.<\/pre>\n
Haywah b. Shurayh (ra\u1e25imahull\u0101h) narrated: \u201cI met \u2018Uqbah b. Muslim (ra\u1e0diy All\u0101hu \u2018anhu) and said to him: \u2018It has been reported to me that someone has narrated to you from the Prophet \ufdfa that when he entered the mosque, he would say [the above]. Is it only this? He replied: \u2018Yes. Whoever says [the above], Shayt\u0101n says: \u2018He has gained protection against me for the entire day.\u2019\u201d\u00a0(Ab\u016b Daw\u016bd 466)<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Name of Allah. Peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, forgive my sins. O Allah, open the gates of Your mercy for me.<\/pre>\n
Ab\u016b Usayd (ra\u1e0diy All\u0101hu \u2018anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said: \u201cWhen any one of you enters the mosque, he should say: \u2018O Allah, open the gates of Your mercy for me.\u2019; and when he steps out he should say: \u2018O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.’\u201d\u00a0(Muslim 713)<\/strong><\/p>\n
