Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest. How perfect is the One Who has given us control over this; we could not have done it by ourselves. Truly it is to our Lord that we are returning. O Allah, we ask You for piety, taqw\u0101 and deeds which You will be pleased with on this journey of ours. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and let us cover its distance swiftly. O Allah, You are our Companion on the journey and the One in Whose care we leave our family. I have wronged myself, so forgive me, because none but You can forgive sins.<\/pre>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u02bfAl\u012b (ra\u1e0diy All\u0101hu \u2018anhu) narrates that he saw the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa say [the above] and laugh after that. I asked: Messenger of Allah \ufdfa, at what are you laughing? He \ufdfa replied: \u201cYour Lord, Most High, is pleased with His servant when he says: \u2018Forgive my sins\u2019, knowing that no one forgives sins except Him.\u00a0<strong>(Ab\u016b D\u0101w\u016bd 2602)<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Upon returning, add the following:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h6 class=\"has-text-align-center has-text-align-center\">I seek protection in Allah\u2019s perfect words from the evil of whatever He has created.<\/pre>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Khawlah bint \u1e24\u0101kim (rad\u0323iy Alla\u0304hu \u2018anha\u0304) reported: \u201cI heard the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa say: \u201cWhoever dismounts at a place and then says [the above], nothing will harm him until he sets off again from that place.\u201d\u00a0<strong>(Muslim 2708)<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>When Entering Upon One\u2019s Family<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h6 l\u0101 yug\u0101diru \u1e25awban.<\/em><\/pre>\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-text-align-center\">Turning turning, to our Lord returning, not leaving behind any sin [unforgiven].<\/pre>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Ibn \u02bfAbb\u0101s (radiy All\u0101h\u016b \u2018anhum\u0101) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa returned from a journey and went to his family, he would say [the above].<strong>\u00a0(A\u1e25mad 300)<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Supplication of the Traveler for the Resident<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h6 has-text-align-center\">I leave you in the care of Allah, who does not allow anything entrusted to Him to be lost.<\/pre>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Abu Hurairah (radiy All\u0101h\u016b \u2018anhu) said: \u201cThe Messenger of Allah \ufdfa bid me farewell and said [the above]\u00a0<strong>(Ibn M\u0101jah 2825)<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center \u02bfamalik.<\/em><\/pre>\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-text-align-center\">I leave your religion, your trust and the last of your deeds in the care of Allah.<\/pre>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Ibn Umar (radiy All\u0101h\u016b \u2018anhum\u0101) would say to a man if he intended to travel, \u201cI bid you farewell as the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa would bid farewell. The Messenger of Allah \ufdfa would say [the above]. He is Alone and He has no partner. To Him Alone belong all sovereignty and all praise. He gives life and He gives death. He is Ever-Living and does not die.
