Iran is an ancient civilization with a history of four to five thousand years, known as Persia. In the 6th century BC, the ancient Persian Empire was at its peak. On February 11, 1979, Khomeini officially came to power, and on April 1 of the same year, the Islamic Republic was established, making Khomeini the supreme leader of the Iranian Revolution.
The armed forces consist of the military, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and security forces. The Supreme Leader is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.
