The Republic of Azerbaijan (Azerbaijani: Az ə rbaycan Respublikas ı), abbreviated as Azerbaijan (Azerbaijani: Az ə rbaycan), is located in the southeastern part of the Transcaucasian region at the junction of the Eurasian continent.
